I received my Masters in art therapy and post-graduate training in Integrated Trauma Treatment. Before opening my practice, I worked extensively in New York City with children and adolescents in the foster care system, court-involved young people, and adults with psychiatric diagnoses. I also saw adult clients at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy through their Trauma Studies Center and Gay and Lesbian Affirmative Psychotherapy programs.
My training in two trauma-processing psychotherapy models has transformed my practice and continues to enrich the lives of many clients. Assisting in IFS (Internal Family Systems) Level 1 trainings in White Plains, NY has helped deepen my understanding and appreciation of IFS and allows me to stay connected to a wonderful community of psychotherapists.
I have also performed in bands and collaborated with many downtown NYC performers for the last ten years. I like to think my experience as a performer enhances my clinical work.
