PRACTICE

I specialize in work with adults who have a history of trauma although I see individuals with a wide range of needs and histories,.   My approach to psychotherapy is collaborative, respectful and non-pathologizing.

Clients often find me because of my experience as an Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) trainer. I'm also trained in EMDR, but IFS is definitely the modality I use most. Both of these models of psychotherapy have helped people previously disappointed by traditional talk therapy. Also, I believe that no model of psychotherapy can benefit a client until there is a compassionate connection between the client and therapist.

Making the commitment to begin psychotherapy can be fraught with anxiety. It's important to me that clients feel supported at our first session and throughout the course of treatment. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment.  For now, I am looking to fill any openings with those fully vaccinated and looking for weekly, in-person psychotherapy.
My office is located on 244 Fifth Avenue, 8G between 27th and 28th Street.

The nearest subway stations are the 33rd Street stop on the 6 train, the 28th Street stop on the N or R train, and all Penn Station and Herald Square trains.
