I specialize in work with adults who have a history of trauma although I see individuals with a wide range of needs and histories,.   My approach to psychotherapy is collaborative, respectful and non-pathologizing.

Clients often find me because of my training in Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) and EMDR.  Both of these models of psychotherapy have helped people previously disappointed by traditional talk therapy. Also, I believe that no model of psychotherapy can benefit a client until there is a compassionate connection between the client and therapist.

I am trained in the Intimacy from the Inside Out model of couples work.  Already the couples I see in my practice are enjoying more compassionate, less reactive communication within their relationships.

Making the commitment to begin psychotherapy can be fraught with anxiety. It's important to me that clients feel supported at our first session and throughout the course of treatment. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment.
My office is located on 244 Fifth Avenue, 8G between 27th and 28th Street.

The nearest subway stations are the 33rd Street stop on the 6 train, the 28th Street stop on the N or R train, and all Penn Station and Herald Square trains.
